Personally I'd go to a 1 V. The 1 III having the 888 is just not a good thing. It'll get hot and probably won't age all that well especially 3 years later.

The 14 ultra definitely has better speakers. The 13u still has solid ones, but I don't have to have the 14u's volume cranked halfway up for it to get decently loud like on the 13u

The v20 and v30 both have a quad dac, but the v30 has the ability to change the overall sound of how music sounds through filtering. Overall they're the same, but the v30 is slightly better with things like stereo separation, though not by much compared to going from a v20 to v50 or 60 even a g8

Just put it in the case and close it, then re pair the earbuds to your phone and it'll work. That's what happened with my left earbud when it just stopped working and got a new pair I just swapped the left earbud from the new pair and out the busted one in with the return

The issue for me is the dramatic drop in general. If it were 1440p I'd be fine, but going from 4k to 1080p is just too drastic. Hell id be fine with it in general if the phone were cheaper, but that's not what makes me say I don't want the phone it's the changes to the camera app. To me that's really what is taking away from what makes an Xperia what it is.

@@SpardasTechReviews yeah I agree with that. I'ma keep my Xperia 1v. I love this phone and enjoy the features. I have a couple gripes but not much. I wish Sony would tell us what changed they made to the headphone jack and what dac ship they are using

Honestly if anything I'd get a 1v somewhere down the line, but I'm trying to get the 14 ultra. lol

What do you mean by “abandon the fan base”? What are you talking about?! The phone is minimal larger and retains the beautiful design. The new camera app makes everything easy and intuitive. You get 2 days of battery, the best camera on the market, SD card slot, headphone jack. What the heck do you want more?! Which other smartphone offer more?

@@cedeunmail great sounds like you got your new phone picked out. I am referring to the fact that the changes made like screen ratio are from people that did not buy the device to begin with. Sony sent them review units and then they detracted from people buying the devices. Myself and a few others I know who do buy were satisfied with it, Hence the reason for buying. And I noted the things I appreciate. Doesn't mean that they are above the critic. May grow on me later or I may stay satisfied with the 1 mk v

@@theish9 :) It is really funny or maybe weird how almost everybody complained about the form factor and now again… there is no perfect device, no perfect form or design. But all in one Xperias offer unique technical advantages. Don’t like them? There is so much competition. You can choose whatever you want. I remember the beginnings of mirrorless cameras and the bashing of Sony. Well they kept their way and now they offer the best cameras hands down. The AF on Xperia is unique and deserves the name Auto Focus. Same about picture quality. Look, I don’t work for Sony and I couldn’t care less what someone on RUclips says or buys. Usually they do buy (or receive) a device and then change their initial review. This is a trick that you should know already. “What a disappointment, what a bad decision from Sony” (or Apple, Samsung, etc). Until they get a device from the manufacturer. I find the new Xperia quite sensational and I really don’t care about RUclipsrs. The majority of them have a business to run or simply have nu clue. Cheers.

Never said they were a charity organization. A phone isn't a bently, Rolex, or a fashion brand. Quite frankly if Sony wants to make more money in the market they're clearly not flourishing in, maybe they shouldn't shaft the base that helped get them to where they are. My 13 ultra gives me all day battery life, so to say Chinese brands "don't give a fuck about battery life." Is just dumb. You wanna spend 1400 dollars on a phone that wants to be more like the others but is severely gimped in plenty of aspects, go ahead. "best sound" that headphone jack still won't even catch a fuckin 4 year old v60. Enjoy your paired back, slightly bigger Xperia 5 that they're calling a 1. I'll just be using a phone that has Sony's actual best sensors.

The only real difference between sound quality would be the fact that the v50 would be tuned by meridian and the v50 is tuned by LG. For the most part the v60 sounds mostly the same, but the bass response on meridian tuned LG phones is more impactful, whereas it's more headphone dependent on the v60. In terms of power they'll be able to power Hugh impedance headphones the same, it's just the v50 will kick out a little more bass

Yeah I am and it's holding up great. Wish it had more storage and charged faster but that's it. Lol

@@SpardasTechReviews lol I'm glad you mentioned charging because I bought a 7a last month and liked it a lot but after coming from S23 plus which had fast 45 charging and excellent fingerprint reader I sold 7a and just bought pixel 8 this weekend at least I got faster charging and I decided not to even use fingerprint reader but I really do enjoy pixel point and shoot camera helps me daily in my job not worrying about getting good pic

Overall I'd give it to the Xiaomi. At first I thought the speaker placement would be weird, but I got used to it quickly. Plus the speaker push out a decent amount of bass. 2nd would be the Xperia 1 III solely due to the fact that they're front facing and still decently loud and clear. The pixel is very inconsistent. Sometimes it'll be nice, but depending on the mixing I have to crank the volume up on certain content, which is a thing on other phones, just seems to be more of an issue with the pixel.

@@SpardasTechReviews thanks for that answer ! So best overall is Xiaomi 13 ultra, not a surprise, i have the black Shark 5 pro and they re littéraly Amazing. About the Xperia 1 iii, does it have a décent amount of bass ? I have the 5 iv and the speakers have really good séparation but sound thin with 0 bass and not deep at all.

@@allkatraze5354 the xperia has ok bass, it's focused more on clarity. I wouldn't be listening to music with the speakers on the Sony, but I wouldn't say they're terrible for it

Bra I have the v60 the winner is the battery, I bought a Samsung brand new recently I sold it and bought the v60 the battery is way better and the LG is 4yrs old

Tried, didn't work, the method I showed is easier than buying an adapter that says it's a certain impedance just for it to end up not being that.
